Health Research regarding EMF Radiation is inconclusive.  The World Health Organization has labeled EMF Radiation a ‘possible carcinogen’ based on conflicting research and the lack of full understanding of long term impacts.

It should be noted that for studies to conclude a health impact, there must be 95% statistical confidence.  To conclude no health impact only requires there NOT to be 95% confidence of an impact.

Below are several studies that show reason to be concerned about this project (i.e., they found a correlation or impact to health with 95% confidence).  The question is whether or not our Town should allow this uncertainty in our neighborhoods, by our schools, and along routes where our children and neighbors walk.  Importantly, the level of radiation in all of the below studies is well below the highest levels that will be associated with the West Roxbury to Needham Reliability Project.
